Hugh hosted a tea in the House of Commons Terrace Marquee for his constituents.
Hugh hosted a day of activities at Westminster for his constituents. The day started early with a tour of the Palace of Westminster followed by a visit to the Jewel House. After lunch some constituents climbed to the top of The Clock Tower (Big Ben) and for those who did not wish to climb the steps Hugh had arranged for tickets for them to go 'behind the curtain' in the House of Commons and to the Public Gallery in the House of Lords. Everyone met up again at 4pm for a delicious cream tea in the Terrace Marquee.
