MP CHAMPIONS KENT POLICE'S ACTION AGAINST ILLEGAL HARE COURSING
Hugh Robertsonhas today written to the Chief Constable of Kent Police to thank him for Kent Police’s work during the recent operation against illegal hare coursing in my constituency.
The operation, codenamed Operation Tree, stamped out illegal hare coursing, reduced other crime in rural areas by 24% and did wonders for the police’s reputation in rural areas.
He also thanked those that financed the operation and the Station Commanders at Maidstone and Swale Police, who had the operational lead.
Hugh said: “This is a great example of the Police and rural communities pulling together to stamp out an unpleasant criminal activity and my thanks goes to all those who were involved in Operation Tree.”
