Robertson: ODA needs a proper budget for Olympics transport plan

The Transport select committee has raised strong concerns about transport plans for London 2012.

Commenting on the Transport Select Committee report which expresses strong concerns about the transport plans for the 2012 Olympic Games, Shadow Sport and Olympics Minister, Hugh Robertson said:

“The unspoken message in this report is that the Olympic Delivery Authority needs a proper budget in order to deliver a transport plan worthy of the Games. The Government's repeated failure to produce one, and its earlier incompetent management of the budget, is having a detrimental effect on every aspect of London's Olympics.”
