Hugh Robertson pays tribute to his predecessor as MP for Faversham & Mid Kent - Andrew Rowe

Hugh Robertson comments on the sad news of his predecessor's death.

Andrew Rowe was a Kent MP for nearly twenty years who will be particularly remembered for his fight on behalf of constituents blighted by the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. He was a man of huge moral courage and great integrity, underpinned by strong Christian beliefs, who was liked and respected by friends and opponents alike.

He was extraordinarily kind and generous to me as his successor and all our thoughts are very much with Sheila and the family at this time.
