Hugh Robertson expresses concern over flooding in Faversham

Hugh Robertson has expressed his concern for those people forced to flee their homes yesterday in advance of a tidal surge that cause flooding in the town. He said “Flooding is a miserable experience for anyone at any time but particularly in the run up to Christmas. I have already spoken to both the Environment Agency and Swale Borough Council about the situation and will do everything necessary to help all those affected.”
