Hugh explains the legacy plan as "a huge disappoitment to sport."
Responding to the publication of the 2012 Legacy Action Plan, Shadow Olympics Minister Hugh Robertson said:
“This announcement will come as a huge disappointment to sport, and breaks a key London 2012 commitment. The announcement about Sport England and mass participation has been Conservative policy since the last election and free swimming for pensioners, although worthy, hardly meets the promise to 'enable young people through sport' that was such a key part of our bid. The Government also seem to have ignored the fact that some councils like Westminster already offer free swimming for some groups.”
